Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag admits he wants to be active in January.
However, he insists his focus is currently on the pitch.
After victory over Chelsea, Ten Hag said: "I think not and, if that were the case, United's approach should be that if you can improve your team, then you should do it.
"What we expect from every player who comes to Carrington every day is for him to give his all, to give the best of himself.
"As a club you have to look for improvements, so if you can find better and it's realistic financially and with Financial Fair Play, I think the club should do it.
"But in reality, compared to the market, most of the time the best players do not move in the winter. The best players will not leave their club this winter. There are players who are unhappy, injured or otherwise."
