Erik ten Hag hopes he's brought a different energy to Manchester United.
Ten Hag joined United after spending the last four-and-a-half years with Dutch giants Ajax.
“Yeah it is a busy job, but I don't hate working so no problem," Ten Hag told manutd.com.
“Especially not when you are in football. The best is to be a football player, but if that is not possible anymore, be a coach, be a manager.
“It's a great job, so I get a lot of energy out of it and I hope to bring it over to my team."
Ten Hag was keen to convey the importance of the work the squad is putting in on the training ground and he believes those standards implemented during pre-season need to be maintained now throughout the campaign.
Ahead of tomorrow's Premier League opener with Brighton, he added: “It is constructing a winning culture, and it starts in the week at Carrington: by high standards, by good values and work.
“Work [as a] consequence of that, work on the way of playing and in the end you will achieve success."
