Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag admits he wants to buy from the top shelf this summer market.
Tottenham ace Harry Kane is a priority target for Ten Hag, who says they need to bring in "outstanding" players for next season.
He said, "I think we knew before the start of the season... we need outstanding players at Manchester United, that's clear.
"If you have injuries, you need substitutes and competition, especially if you want to compete in four competitions."
Along with Kane, Bayern Munich's France World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard is also being linked with United this week.
