Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has revealed how the players have helped away fans make today's clash at Chelsea.
When the 17:30 BST kick-off time was confirmed at the start of October, United's away allocation for the game at Stamford Bridge was reduced due to policing concerns.
This was a disappointment for many of our fans who had already purchased tickets to the fixture. During his interview Ten Hag revealed that, in an effort to help those who missed out, he and his players relinquished their own ticket allocation for the fixture.
“As a squad we did as much as we could, including sending tickets back from the players to ensure as many fans could be involved and come to support us," he said.
“I'm sure they will back us there and we feel the responsibility to get the right result and show the right performance at Stamford Bridge.''
