Tenant in Ipoh Horrified After Discovering Infant Remains Cemented In The Porch During Renovation

In recent news, a housing tenant was shocked when he found the body of a baby wrapped in a sarong buried in front of the house he was going to live in at Taman Sri Rokam, Ipoh on Wednesday.

The body was found at about 11 am when the complainant was doing renovation work on the house.

According to reports by Astro AWANI, the complainant had dug up the ground to re-cement the floor at the porch of their home before finding pieces of sarong cloth.

The tenant, a 37-year-old man, is said to have pulled the cloth and found the baby's body behind the cloth.

The complainant then made a report at Kampung Rapat Police Station, around 12 noon.

Further investigation is currently underway with authorities looking for an Indonesian woman who used to rent the property for the past 3 years for RM400/month.

According to Ipoh District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner, Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad, the woman has been missing for the past month.
