Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah, the Crown Prince of Pahang, has called for a swift and comprehensive investigation into claims that a member of the Pahang royal family, along with several others, assaulted a man at a stable in June. In a statement posted on his Instagram account, @this.7, Tengku Hassanal emphasized that everyone, including those from the royal family, must be held accountable under the law.

In his post, Tengku Hassanal was firm in his stance against any unlawful behavior, stating that the investigation should be conducted with full transparency, impartiality, and seriousness, ensuring that there are no exceptions or compromises. "I will never protect anyone who breaks the law," he declared, underscoring his commitment to justice and the rule of law.

The call for investigation comes after a news report emerged about an incident involving a construction and maintenance worker who was allegedly attacked by a group of people, which included a member of the Pahang royal family. The victim reportedly suffered injuries, including a deep wound on his thigh that required several stitches and additional treatment for cuts on his leg.

In response to these allegations, Pahang Police Chief Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman confirmed that the police are in the final stages of completing the investigation paperwork, which will then be forwarded to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further review and action.

Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman also revealed that several individuals have been arrested in connection with the case but have been released on police bail pending further investigations. Additionally, a number of witnesses have been interviewed to provide statements that could shed light on what transpired during the incident.

The case has garnered significant public attention due to the involvement of a member of the royal family, raising questions about accountability and the rule of law in cases involving high-profile figures. Tengku Hassanal's firm stance on the matter has been widely praised as a call for justice, reflecting his commitment to ensuring that all individuals, regardless of status, are treated equally under the law.

This incident comes at a time when public scrutiny over the actions of those in power is growing, and Tengku Hassanal’s comments are seen as a strong message that even those in the highest positions are not immune to the consequences of their actions. The Crown Prince's insistence on a thorough and fair investigation has set a precedent for transparency, suggesting that any wrongdoing will not be tolerated, regardless of the individuals involved.

While the investigation continues, the public awaits the outcome to see how justice will be served in this case. Tengku Hassanal’s proactive approach to ensuring that the rule of law is upheld reflects his dedication to fairness and integrity, reinforcing the idea that accountability is essential for maintaining public trust.

As the authorities proceed with their investigations, the case will continue to be closely monitored, with many hoping it will serve as a reminder that no one is above the law. The outcome will likely have broader implications for how similar cases are handled in the future, particularly those involving individuals in positions of influence and authority.
