At last week’s Malaysia Open, whispers about Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz’s potential leadership role in the Badminton Association of Malaysia grew louder ahead of its elections, due by May. If elected, Tengku Zafrul, whose senatorship ends in December, would have to step down as Minister of Investment, Trade, and Industry.
