Tenom: Residents of Kampung Rayoh whose railway link to Tenom town has been cut off since October 2022 are now forced to use homemade motorcycle trolleys as an alternative.

This follows a landslide on Oct 31, 2022 which caused the railway line to be impassable.

Rayoh Village Chief Felix Sabitun said they have to rely on the motorcycle trolleys because there is no road access to the village.

“As railway is the only mode of transport from our village to Tenom and Pangi, the residents have no choice but to build motorcycle trolleys which are not allowed by the authorities.
