- Tesco has recalled its Finest Mozzarella Pearls and Pesto Orzo salad over the risk it may have been contaminated with E.coli.
- The recall affects 215g packets with use-by dates of 25, 26, and 27 August.
- Contamination with E. coli can cause severe diarrhoea, abdominal pain, vomiting and dehydration.
- The Food Standards Agency (FSA) said: "If you have bought the above product, do not eat it. Instead, return it to any Tesco store for a full refund.”
- Tesco has warned that if anyone presents any of these symptoms, they should isolate away from work, school or nurseries for two days.
