Over the recent years, many automotive companies have explored the usage of electricity to help reduce the usage of fuel for cars. And Tesla is one of the companies that specialises in electrical cars. Early this year, Tesla has announced their arrival in the Malaysian market by opening up job applications.

According to SoyaCincau, the American EV is all set up and the first few Tesla Supercharger were spotted in the parking lot at Pavilion KL! It was said that there are over 8 charging stations built, all of which are located in the underground carpark at B1 Zone C21.

Other than that, Tesla’s website has also announced that more Supercharging stations will be built across Malaysia, including Iskandar Johor Princess City, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Bukit Jalil, Petaling Jaya, Ipoh and Penang.

Prior to this, Tesla’s unveiling is set to happen today (July 20) at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. With that said, the centre court of the mall has been arranged accordingly to accommodate the launch. The launch held in the pristine mall is said to reveal its lineup and blueprints, but one thing’s certain is that Malaysians can expect Tesla to bring in Model Y.

Following that, many have speculated that the pricing of the cars would sit at RM260,000 to RM300,000. However, with its website up and running, the American EV company revealed that the starting price for Model Y would retail at RM199,000 onwards.
