3. Best known for playing David Nelson in Heartstopper, Jack Barton, 31, has emerged as a surprise contender in the betting (8/1).
4. Sinners and Skins actor Jack O’Connell, 36, remains among William Hill’s leading names (12/1), although recent reports suggest he may no longer be in the final running.
5. Josh O’Connor, 36, of The Crown and Challengers fame, rounds out the top five (12/1) and is reportedly among the actors expected to take part in final screen tests in the coming weeks.
