  • The BBC sitcom 'Ghosts' is set to return with a feature film titled 'Ghosts: The Possession of Button House', three years after its final series.
  • The original creators and stars, including Mathew Baynton, Simon Farnaby, Martha Howe-Douglas, Jim Howick, Laurence Rickard and Ben Willbond, will reprise their roles in the one-off special alongside Lolly Adefope, Charlotte Ritchie and Kiell Smith-Bynoe.
  • The writers explained that they had not planned to return but were compelled by an exciting new story idea for Button House.
  • Filming for the movie is scheduled to commence in March at West Horsley Place in Surrey, the iconic location for Button House.
  • Lionsgate will distribute the film in the UK, while BBC Studios will handle worldwide distribution, with comedian Rufus Jones also confirming his involvement.
