Whether you’re after a pair of noise-cancelling headphones for your commute, a set of workout earbuds or a premium pair of over-ear headphones for listening at home, Black Friday is a great time to upgrade your audio setup for less.

The annual sale – which officially kicks off on 29 November this year – sees big discounts on everything from laptops and TVs to smartphones and electric toothbrushes, but some of the biggest savings can be found on headphones. And they have really rolled in already, thanks to the likes of Argos, Currys and Amazon kicking off their sales nice and early.

In my role as IndyBest’s resident tech expert, I’ve rounded up the best discounts on my favourite headphones and earbuds from all the major brands, including Apple, Sony, Bose, Sennheiser and more. Highlights include the AirPods Pro 2 and Sony WF-1000XM5 wireless earbuds have both been reduced to the lowest-ever price. Keep scrolling for all this and more.

Now’s your chance because the Apple AirPods Pro earbuds have been reduced to their lowest-ever price. Tech critic David Phelan praised them in his review and they’re even better than the AirPods 4, despite being older. With better audio and battery, there are touch controls on the buds themselves, so you can adjust the volume without having to take your phone out of your pocket, and there’s a MagSafe case with a lanyard loop for easy charging and storage. Don’t sleep on this deal.

In their review of the AirPods Max, our tech writer said “these headphones are premium, but they sound premium, too. If you are even slightly tempted you will find [they] could change how you listen to music.”
