Garmin’s forerunner 265 was ranked our best fitness tracker after testing. Fitness writer Jennifer Heimlich said that it has “highly accurate GPS tracking and personalized training plans with daily workout suggestions based on how well your recent sessions have gone and how your body is recovering from them.”
“It’s a great all-rounder,” she added. “And, as someone with a small wrist, I love that the forerunner 265 comes in two sizes, including a smaller 42mm option, which I found to be super comfortable. Even though the aesthetic is decidedly sporty, it doesn’t look out of place at a nice dinner or in the office.”

“Maybelline’s lash sensational sky high mascara is the drugstore mascara I will always reach for by default,” wrote beauty writer Ava Welsing-Kitcher in her guide to the best drugstore mascaras. “I’ve gone through tubes of the brown shade (I like softer definition most of the time, even though my lashes are black), and the blackest black shade packs a deeper punch without looking too intense,” she added.

Our Place has launched its end-of-summer sale with up to 45 percent off stylish and toxin-free cookware. In the sale, the always pan pro, is discounted to $115 from $179. Home tester positioned it at the top of her review of the best induction cookware, when she praised it for its speed, versatility, and non-stick surface. “I loved the fact that I could use metal utensils without causing scratching and that it could transfer straight into the oven,” she said.

After being reviewed by Eva Waite-Taylor, this mattress was described as a great “all-rounder”. She wrote: “I tested the 11.5-inch luxury firm queen mattress. I tend to prefer cushiony, hug-like softness, but I compromised for my partner, who favors a firm mattress. I was skeptical about how I’d find this new level of firmness, but I found it to be supremely comfortable, delivering hotel-quality luxury at home. I also felt the benefits of the supportive technology at work, waking up with no aches and pains.
“It also has a decent amount of bounce, making moving around on it fairly easy — but that does mean the movement isolation isn’t the best I’ve tested. To really assess this, I placed a glass of water on the mattress as I moved around slightly, and the glass sloshed about slightly. While not a deal-breaker, I can certainly feel my partner shifting around at night, so it’s something to consider if you are a light sleeper.”

Brooklinen’s luxe sateen core sheet set earned the top spot in our review of the best bed sheets, where homeware writer Brigit Earley described them as “smooth and lustrous.” She noted that the “480-thread-count cotton feels substantial and brings “hotel-level luxury to the bed.” She added that the fabric felt breathable and “held up well to repeated washing.”
