Multiple Indonesia volcanoes have erupted recently, including a major eruption at Mount Anak Krakatau (Sunda Strait) on 05 September. The eruptions caused heavy local ashfall, brief airport closure in Jakarta, and sulfur dioxide gas plumes. However, according to Malaysian Meteorological Department (Met) Malaysia, there is no indication of toxic volcanic ash entering Malaysian airspace. Volcanology experts have assured the public “Malaysia remains at a very low risk from nearest active volcanoes. Even if wind directions shift, the primary concern would be the localized aviation tracking adjustment a the fire-related transboundary haze remains severe across parts of Sarawak and Klang Valley.” Malaysia's APIMS (Air Pollutant Index Management System) routinely monitor local air quality levels and trends in order to advise the public on the latest localized trends for those doing outdoor activities or travel.
Residents in Putrajaya are mindful of the APIMS and my children had missed their daily running activities for almost one week felt relief. They successfully completed the run within the cut-off time to receive the finisher medal of a heavy 325g double-layer zinc alloy featuring a mechanical time display, glow-in-the-dark details, and space for name engraving.

Having expanded each year since inception in 2024, the franchise has solidified its format, built strong institutional backing that guarantees its continuation in the upcoming years. The event has firmly established the flat, wide, scenic boulevards of Putrajaya (specially anchoring around Palace of Justice and Dataran Wawasan) as its permanent venue, offering a reliable blueprint for future logistics and safety handling for personal record tracking.
