- Holidays to Dubai and the rest of the United Arab Emirates are approximately 25 per cent cheaper this year compared to 2025, according to research by TravelSupermarket.
- The price reduction, from £226 to £169 per person per night for a family break, is attributed to caution among holidaymakers due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
- Other Middle Eastern and North African destinations like Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia have also seen price drops of 8 per cent, 7 per cent, and 3 per cent respectively.
- Further afield, exotic destinations such as the Dominican Republic and Mauritius are 11 per cent cheaper.
- In contrast, popular European destinations such as Spain have become more expensive, with prices rising by 4 per cent, making a seven-night stay for a family of four potentially £168 dearer.
