A shocking and chilling video has surfaced, purportedly captured by the assailants responsible for the tragic attack on a Moscow concert hall. The footage, circulating on social media platforms commonly used by the jihadist group Islamic State (IS), was first reported by the SITE Intelligence Group.

Lasting approximately ninety seconds, the video offers a glimpse into the harrowing scene inside the Crocus City Hall concert venue in Krasnogorsk, located northwest of Moscow. In the video, several individuals with obscured faces and distorted voices are seen wielding assault rifles and knives.

The perpetrators, their identities concealed, are shown in what appears to be the lobby of the concert hall. In a series of horrifying images, they unleash bursts of gunfire, resulting in numerous lifeless bodies strewn across the floor. In the background, a fire ignites, adding to the chaos and devastation of the scene.

The video was reportedly posted on a Telegram account believed to be affiliated with Amaq, the media wing of IS, according to the SITE monitoring group. This attack, which IS claimed responsibility for on Friday evening, resulted in the tragic loss of at least 133 lives, marking it as the deadliest assault orchestrated by the jihadist group on European soil.

In response to the attack, the Kremlin announced the arrest of 11 individuals, including the four presumed perpetrators, who were allegedly en route to Ukraine, according to Moscow authorities. However, neither President Vladimir Putin nor the Federal Security Service (FSB) has directly implicated the jihadist group in the attack. Kiev has vehemently denied any involvement in the incident.

Margarita Simonyan, the head of the state-run RT media outlet, shared two videos showing the interrogation of two suspects who were in handcuffs. While both suspects confessed to their participation in the attack, they did not disclose details about the organizers behind the operation.

It's important to note that the authenticity of these videos has not been independently verified by AFP. Nevertheless, these developments serve as a stark reminder of the ongoing threat posed by extremist groups and the need for continued vigilance and solidarity in the face of such senseless acts of violence.
