Previously in the 2024 K-drama The Judge from Hell, viewers meet Kang Bit-na (played by Park), a vicious female judge known for her lack of empathy for people’s pain. What her colleagues are unaware of is that Bit-na has been possessed by the demon Justitia (played by Oh Na-ra), who was sent to Earth to drag ten criminals back to hell.

In episode 5, Bit-Na is shocked to find Detective Da-on (played by Kim) as her new neighbour. While the latter aims to keep an eye on Bit-na and prove that she is a murderer, Bit-na manages to fool Da-on each time. Soon a new case is assigned to Bit-na where a murderer pretends to be a mental health patient after killing his wife and two kids. On the day of the trial, Bit-na, who plans to send the murderer to hell, releases him from custody claiming that he is a mental health patient. Da-on is enraged after her decision and confronts her about the same. He promises that this time he won’t allow her to kill the murderer in her court of Hell.

In episode 6, Bit-na shows her true power as a judge from Hell and draws the murderer to the scene of her judgement. She then masterfully plays with his mind and forces him to confess his crimes. Once done, Bit-na punishes the murderer and makes him endure the same torment he had inflicted upon his dead wife and kids. The episode ends with Bit-na sending the murderer to hell and later meets Da-on, who seems confused as to how Bit-na managed to kill the murderer this time with him guarding her front door the whole night.

In the upcoming episodes 7 and 8, viewers can expect the show to delve deeper into Da-on and Bit-na’s intertwined fates.
