The King has joined Sir Idris Elba at a celebration of young people in musical theatre.
Charles is meeting students taking part in musical theatre workshops to mark the 50th anniversary of the National Youth Music Theatre (NYMT) on Thursday in central London.
He was joined by Sir Idris, who used a grant from what was then The Prince’s Trust, and is now The King’s Trust, to attend NYMT aged 18.

NYMT is a charity which offers music theatre opportunities and experiences to young people.
Charles will speak to staff and supporters to hear about their work and also watch a performance by the NYMT Adult Company.
As well as Sir Idris, the organisation’s alumni include Jude Law, Stephen Graham, Toby Jones, Amara Okereke and Callum Scott Howells.
