UNIQLO is set to introduce its first hijab collection in Malaysia, marking a significant milestone for the global retailer as it extends its LifeWear philosophy into the modest category.
Rather than approaching the category through seasonal trends, the collection begins with what UNIQLO knows best: fabric innovation. Developed around three distinct fabric propositions, starting with its most loved AIRism UV Protection, Satin and Georgette, each hijab is designed to offer a different wearing experience, allowing women to choose based on their lifestyle, routine and personal preferences.
Designed with Malaysia’s climate and everyday wearing habits in mind, the collection demonstrates how global textile expertise can be thoughtfully translated into local relevance, where breathability, comfort and versatility become just as important as style itself.
Adding to the anticipation, the campaign will also introduce three familiar Malaysian personalities, each bringing her own interpretation of modern modest fashion. Their identities, together with the complete collection and campaign visuals, will remain under wraps until the official reveal.
