Guess the Gen Z fad is here to stay after all, especially since one of the world’s renowned dictionary publishers is also getting the “Rizz” effect.
Think “bussin”, “simp”, “goated”, “mid” and even “thirst trap”, these are some of the new additions featured on the Merriam-Webster list, totaling up to 690 words.
Of course, as new eras come and go, the Gen Z slang is bound to be cemented in the books.
So, what do the public think of this news? Let’s just say that it’s mainly divided:
doomscroll is possibly my favorite.But Im stunned by how long it took some of the gaming terms, such as NPC, nerf, and especially boss to get in. I mean, I remember first hearing the gaming term boss used in the late 80s or maybe it was early 90s.
