Samsung Malaysia has just announced that its latest Galaxy A series lineup — featuring the new Galaxy A17 5G/LTE and Galaxy A07 LTE — will hit the Malaysian market starting 5th September. Here’s a quick look at what they have to offer.
For starters, the new Galaxy A series sports slimmer, lighter builds — the A17 measures 7.5mm thin (192g for 5G, 190g for LTE), while the A07 comes in at 7.6mm and 184g. Both smartphones are built for durability with IP54 dust/water resistance and Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer backs, while the A17 adds a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ front for extra protection.
On top of that, the A17 integrates Gemini with a long-press of the side button and supports Gemini Live for a hands-free, voice-activated experience. It also includes Circle to Search with Google for instant access to information or music.
Additionally, the Galaxy A17 and A07 promise six generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, backed by Samsung Knox Vault for enhanced data protection. Also, they feature Theft Protection for remote locking and biometric security, plus an Auto Blocker to guard against unauthorized apps and malicious activity.
