- Actor Ryan Hurst has reportedly been dropped from Prime Video's God of War series after sustaining a serious on-set injury.
- Hurst, cast as the lead character Kratos, tore a bicep while filming a stunt and is now recovering after surgery, according to TMZ.
- The length of time required for Hurst, 50, to recover is too lengthy and the big-budget series will forge ahead without him, Deadline has reported.
- The four episodes Hurst, who can be seen in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, had already filmed will reportedly be reshot with a new actor.
- Production for the series, based on the popular video game franchise, is expected to resume in Vancouver this October.
