Admittedly inspired from the iPhone 15 Pro, realme has revealed that its upcoming realme 12 5G mid-range phone will feature a multi-function power button that can be customized to perform several actions.
realme claims that it is the first Android phone to feature a ‘Dynamic Button’ like this, and users can perform a double-press action to launch their favorite app, switch to silent mode, airplane mode and focus mode. The phone has also been teased to come with a capable camera system.
In fact, the realme 12 5G isn’t the first Android phone to bring back an action button despite being a single customizable button, as Huawei has also recently introduced a similar physical button on the nova Y72 smartphone.
As of now, the realme 12 5G doesn’t have a launch date but we expect it to be launched in the coming weeks. According to our sources, the phone will be available in storage variants of 8GB RAM+256GB storage and 8GB RAM+512GB storage, priced at RM1,099 and RM1,299 respectively.
