IN an industry crowded with celebrity-backed ventures that often fade as quickly as they appear, Baron Geisler’s move into the perfume business arrives with a quiet defiance.
Stay24, a French-inspired perfume line under Pariscents, is not marketed as a quick win nor positioned as a novelty attached to a famous name.
Instead, it carries the weight of discipline, restraint and a life rebuilt through intention.
“To me, perfume is not just about scent, it’s identity,” Geisler told The Manila Times.“It’s something that stays with you the whole day, literally and emotionally.”
Stay24’s defining feature is its longevity, but its real power lies beyond chemistry.
For Geisler, the brand is an anchor, one that reflects his sobriety, his reinvention and a business philosophy shaped by years of personal reckoning.
In a space driven by speed and hype, Stay24 is deliberately unhurried.
From samples to signature
The origin of Stay24 was neither strategic nor planned. It began with curiosity.
In early 2025, Pariscents reached out to Geisler and sent him fragrance samples.
He approached them without expectations, yet the results caught him off guard.
The quality, the oil concentration and the way the scent stayed on fabric long after application challenged his assumptions.
“I was honestly surprised by the quality, the scent, the longevity, it wasn’t ordinary.”
What followed was a question rather than a pitch, as Geisler asked whether it was possible to create something personal: his own scent, under a sub-brand, but he set a condition early on.
“If I was going to do this, it had to be real; it couldn’t just be for show.”
That clarity defined the months that followed, with contract negotiations stretching to nearly half a year and involving detailed discussions between legal teams to ensure transparency and fairness.
The process was intentional, signaling that this would not be another short-term business experiment.
That clarity defined the months that followed, with contract negotiations stretching to nearly half a year and involving detailed discussions between legal teams to ensure transparency and fairness.
“This was serious; this wasn’t like the businesses I did before, I wanted something I could really grow, something that could eventually expand beyond perfume.”
Hands-on involvement became nonnegotiable.
Geisler worked closely with Pariscents’ chemists, approving every scent profile and repeatedly testing longevity.
Samples were shipped back and forth between cities. He evaluated how each fragrance evolved over time, how it reacted to skin and fabric, and whether it met his personal standards.
“The oil concentration is high; that’s why it lasts, and that’s why it’s expensive for us to produce.”
Attention to detail extended beyond the scent itself; packaging was designed with intention, magnetized caps, carefully chosen typography and a personal message bearing his signature.
The goal was coherence: every element had to reflect authenticity.
“I don’t want to embarrass myself,” he said.
“I don’t want to deceive people, if I wouldn’t wear it myself, I wouldn’t sell it.”
The brand name Stay24 carries layered meaning, referring to both the scent’s longevity and Geisler’s sobriety journey, staying sober one day at a time.
“This isn’t just a cologne, it reminds me to stay grounded every day.”
Each fragrance tells its own story: Rule Breaker is citrusy and energetic, No Control is sweet yet musky and unisex, and Behind the Smoke is a subdued, jazz-bar vibe for nighttime introspection, what unites them is evolution.
“This perfume is a ride, after three hours, it becomes something else... after a few more hours, it turns into another experience.”
The launch, however, was anything but glamorous.
During their first live selling session, the team stayed online for three hours and only two bottles sold.
“It was humbling, but that’s part of the process — blessings don’t always come quickly, they arrive when the intention is right and the work is honest.”
Discipline over hype
Balancing a demanding acting career with a growing business requires structure, something Geisler approaches with realism rather than bravado.
He does not claim mastery, instead, he relies on systems and people.
“If you love what you’re doing and you have goals, nothing’s too hard, but you can’t do it alone.”
He invested early in experienced professionals to handle marketing and operations: a move that required capital but reduced costly mistakes.
Learning, for him, is ongoing.
“I’m not saying I’m a great businessman, but I see results.”
Those results became evident through sales data and customer feedback.
Thousands of bottles moved within months, surprising even Geisler.
Pricing challenged expectations, with retail prices ranging from P1,150 to P1,300, he believes Stay24 is undervalued.
“If I saw this in a high-end store priced at P12,000, I would buy it, our chemists are that good, the oil is that good.”
Consumer response reinforced that belief, with reviews across e-commerce platforms consistently rating the fragrances highly and fellow actors praising its staying power.
“Smell is something you experience before you believe,” he said.
“I’m confident enough to be challenged on that.”
Beyond sales, the deeper lessons drawn from Stay24 revolve around trust, patience and humility.
Business, much like recovery, demands community and accountability.
“You don’t let dry seasons destroy your soul, that’s when ego gets tested.”
Nearly three decades into showbiz, Geisler no longer measures success by applause or awards.
“Showbiz is not forever, if you want generational wealth, you need multiple sources of income.”
His motivation is anchored in responsibility, particularly to his children and their future.
Stability, not spectacle, guides his decisions.
“I’m no longer chasing fame, I’m chasing peace of mind and a legacy that lasts.”
For aspiring entrepreneurs, his advice is direct and unromantic.
“Be patient. Be honest. Be real,” Geisler said.
“If you’re only after quick money, it won’t work.”
Ego is the greatest obstacle, while discipline, faith and consistency are the foundations.
“If your intentions are good, it will come back to you,” he said.
As Stay24 continues to expand with new scents and a stronger digital presence, Geisler remains grounded in a principle he now lives by: growth must be earned, not rushed.
Like the scent it represents, Stay24 does not demand attention.
It lingers, quietly, deliberately, leaving behind something more lasting than hype: conviction.
