
Continuing its series of Education Expos, The Tribune is organising a two-day event in Shimla on May 20 and 21. Leading universities, colleges, institutes and banks from North India will participate in the expo. Himachal Pradesh Education Minister Rohit Thakur will be the chief guest at the event. The event is powered by Chitkara University.
The Tribune, a leading English daily in North India, has been conducting Education Expos since 2019 in Chandigarh. The expo aims to bring top universities, colleges and institutes and students exploring higher education opportunities under one roof.
Professional career counsellors will be present to guide students. Three banks, namely Bank of Baroda, HP State Cooperative Bank and IDBI Bank, are also participating in the event to inform students and parents about loan facilities.
Students, who scored over 85 per cent in the Class XI and Class XII exams this year, will be felicitated at the event.
The participants include — Chitkara University, Amity University, Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Graphic Era, Shoolini University, ICFAI University, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh University, Bahra University, NHPC, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Dev Bhoomi University etc.
