With the vivo V70 getting dropped tomorrow, vivo Malaysia is giving us some teasers on how the latest V series model offers absolute value for the buck through the 7 flagship-level features.
First, we have the frame that is made from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy for extra strength and corrosion resistance, then the Faceted Highlight Design with Micrometer Mid-Frame Coating Process is applied over oxidation treatments, giving it that smooth, high metallic texture in hand.
For the camera, it is running the 50 MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera powered by the Sony IMX882 sensor at 1/1.95-inch, capable of capturing more light than most competing products in its segment, resulting in better low-light shots and more detailed night photography. Meanwhile, the periscope structure enables up to 20x zoom in a relatively compact body.
If you’re into concerts or live events, there’s also AI Stage Mode, which uses an AI Image Enhancement Algorithm to sharpen fine details, while AI Style Portrait Technology boosts facial clarity even at 10x zoom. So instead of blurry stage shots, you get images that feel much closer to a front-row experience.
Or if you’re the casual “shoot then edit afterwards” type of people, then the AI Magic Weather comes in handy to transform cloudy skies into brighter scenes, add sunset tones, or even remove unwanted passersby, while AI Magic Landscape enhances lighting and color and includes a Passerby Erase feature. It can even generate extra environmental details like desert sunsets or frozen landscapes, making everyday shots look more polished and social-ready without much manual editing.
Aside from the tried and true LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage combo, security is strengthened through the 3D Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanning 2.0 that works even if your fingertip is wet or sweaty.
Tying everything together is OriginOS 6, which brings deeper AI-OS integration for smarter performance and smoother multitasking. vivo says the system has been fully rebuilt for better stability and improved privacy controls, while multi-scenario connectivity makes it easier to share and collaborate across apps and devices.
