VTubing gained massive popularity in Japan around 2016 with pioneers like Kizuna AI and has since grown into a global phenomenon with agencies like Hololive producing professional VTubers. Back to main point again, to celebrate this group of creator, The Vtuber Award was created back in 2023.

The VTuber Award is an event or recognition given to celebrate and honor VTubers for their achievements and contributions in the virtual entertainment space.
