If you were anywhere near social media these past few days, you already know. Cryptic posts began surfacing across Live Nation’s accounts in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, and Japan, each carrying the same teasing message: ‘A foreshadowing of the final leg.’ The speculation ran wild, and as it turns out, it was entirely justified. The Weeknd has officially confirmed that Malaysia is on the map for the closing chapter of his record-breaking ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ stadium tour.

The Canadian superstar will bring his blockbuster tour to Asia for one final run in 2026, rounding off what has become one of the biggest concert tours in music history. The tour has grossed over US$1 billion globally, sold more than 7.5 million tickets across 153 shows, and has now been recognised as the highest-grossing tour ever by a male solo artist. A diamond-certified career, a billion-dollar tour. In short, this is as big as it gets.

The 2026 Asia run is a proper tour in every sense, spanning six countries across nearly two months. Dates kick off in Tokyo on 20 September before heading to Jakarta, Singapore, and Seoul for two nights each. Bangkok follows, with Hong Kong closing out October across two nights on the 30th and 31st. Malaysia wraps things up on 4 November, making it the final stop of the entire Asia leg.

The Weeknd will perform at TM National Stadium (formerly Bukit Jalil National Stadium) on 4 November at 8.30 PM MYT. This will mark the first time the global superstar has performed on Malaysian soil, which makes it a landmark occasion for local fans who have long waited for their turn. Japanese hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts will serve as support across the majority of the Asia dates, with DJ Yousuke Yukimatsu joining on selected shows.

Ticket prices have not been announced yet, but the sales windows are already set. The first opportunity comes via the artist pre-sale on 18 May, running from 10 AM to 11.59 PM MYT. To take part, you will need to register on The Weeknd’s official website to receive a pre-sale code. Do note that registration closes on 15 May at 8 AM MYT, so sign up as soon as possible if you have not already.

Maybank Visa cardholders get their own exclusive window next, with the Visa pre-sale opening on 19 May at 10 AM MYT and closing on 20 May at 10 AM MYT. Following that, the Live Nation pre-sale goes live on 20 May from 12 PM to 11.59 PM MYT, open to anyone with a free Live Nation account. Finally, general sale begins on 21 May at 11 AM MYT, with tickets available to everyone via Live Nation and GoLive Asia.

Beyond the spectacle, the tour carries a meaningful charitable component. As part of the ‘After Hours Til Dawn’ 2026 Asia run, The Weeknd is partnering with Global Citizen to raise funds for children’s education through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. He is also continuing his collaboration with the United Nations World Food Programme, with proceeds channelled into the XO Humanitarian Fund to support global hunger relief efforts. One local currency equivalent of US$1 from every ticket sold across the Asia leg will be donated to both organisations.

So when you buy a ticket, you are contributing to something bigger than just the show itself. For Malaysian fans, this one has been a long time coming. The Weeknd’s first ever performance in the country, on the final night of one of the biggest tours ever staged. If you are even remotely on the fence, this is your sign.
