Rapid Rail, the Monorail line operator, shares public data regarding the status of facilities in their stations, as well as any undergoing maintenance here. However, the data don’t include the automatic glass platform doors, hence we are unable to verify the claim regarding the facilities allegedly not working for up to 10 years.

WORLD OF BUZZ has reached out to Rapid Rail for comments but has yet to receive any replies as of the time of writing.

Many Malaysians didn’t even know there were automatic glass doors at Kuala Lumpur monorail stations

In the replies, Malaysians reacted to the automatic monorail glass platform doors being operational, with some completely oblivious to the fact that there are glass doors there.

One commenter was shocked at the sight, saying that he didn’t know there were doors there and thought that the glass platform at monorail stations was just for decoration purposes.
