Kota Kinabalu: There are no Borenos branches in the peninsula, so this top fan had some fried chicken sent from here to Melaka to fulfill his cravings.

Borenos's branch in Asia City made that order, which was delivered by the fan's acquaintance on a flight that crossed the South China Sea and a car that travelled from the airport in Sepang to Melaka.

Borenos said on their social media platforms that they had learnt about their longest-travelled ever chicken box from a fan via a direct message on Tuesday.

“You won’t believe this but this man actually bought fried chicken from your Asia City store and brought it all the way to Melaka for me,” the man named Darren Lee said.

Lee and the person who delivered the fried chicken appear in a video published by the company as well.

The homegrown fried chicken company said in their online statement that having their fried chickens flown to a customer was the last thing they expected.
