Oasis have announced another tour is on the way – and there is a very conspicuous gap in the schedule that could well point to a Glastonbury appearance for the Manchester duo.
Following on from the massive success of their 2025 reunion shows, Liam and Noel Gallagher will be setting back out on the road for 38 concerts in the UK and Ireland, Europe and the US, including five nights at Celtic Park in Glasgow, two nights at Slane Castle in Dublin and four concerts at Knebworth, which will mark their return to the Hertfordshire locale after their historic 1996 performances.
Dates in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston and Las Vegas have also been confirmed, as well as a mammoth run at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium in June.
Fans will have spotted, however, that the 11 listed dates at the Manchester arena include a two-day break on 23 and 24 June, which would allow the band to play at Glastonbury, which is taking place between 23 and 27 June. Full dates below.
While Liam has previously talked down the idea of Oasis headlining Glastonbury again, it is fair to say that the musician can’t always be trusted at his word. Both brothers had long denied rumours of their reunion prior to the official announcement in August 2024.
If they do perform at Worthy Farm next year, it would be the fourth appearance from Oasis at the music festival, following on from 1994, 1995, and a controversial performance in 2004, dubbed by some fan boards at the time as “uneventful, lifeless, dull”.
Liam himself said he “hated that gig” in 2019, and blamed the in-ear monitors for severing the connection between fans and the band.
With tickets for next year’s Glastonbury going on sale in October, speculation has ramped up as to who may be on the bill. Harry Styles, Fontaines DC, and Sam Fender are among those rumoured to be performing, with Stevie Wonder and Robbie Williams reportedly both eying up the Legends slot on the Sunday afternoon.

One musician who will definitely not be performing is Madonna, with Emily Eavis ruling out a headline gig from the “Vogue” singer after Madonna appeared to drop a major hint that she would be headlining Glastonbury next year, having told Graham Norton in June that she had “something big” planned in the UK for 2027.
Announcing the 2027 tour, Oasis said in a statement issued on Monday (14 September): “START THE CELEBRATIONS!!!! After a period of reflection ‘the most damaging pop cultural force in recent British history” has declared itself fit for purpose and will once again return to lift the spirits of the people. Come witness the fitness. It shall be a sight to behold.”
