Fall is here, so we’ve officially entered the busy sales period. One Dyson’s most popular and recognizable launches is the airwrap. The i.d. edition uses Bluetooth to take the guesswork out of hair styling. Based on your hair type, length, and skill level, the MyDyson app guides you through the styling steps, with the hair tool adjusting heat and airflow according to your hair.
“Overall, the Dyson airwrap i.d. delivers, excelling in almost every task, with the airwrap barrels themselves the only function that leaves a little to be desired, especially for tight textures,” noted our review.

Sheilla Mamona called the Dyson supersonic nural “an absolute game changer” for styling her afro hair. She wrote: “It also dries hair ultra fast – even if you have full 4B/4C curls – due to its powerful airflow. With it, I could easily blow-dry my medium-length afro hair in less than 10 minutes.”

For anyone who loves to straighten their hair, being able to skip the blow-drying step and style straight out of the shower is the dream. That’s exactly what you get with the Dyson airstrait, with beauty writer Lucy Smith acknowledging that it very much lives up to the hype.
In fact, in her review she wrote: “With straight hairstyles growing in popularity in 2026, I’ve no doubt the airstrait will eventually overtake the airwrap as the ‘must-have’ device.”
