Thiago Motta and Spezia have terminated his contract by mutual consent.
Spezia announced: "Spezia Calcio announces that an agreement has been reached regarding the terms of the consensual termination of the contracts of coach Thiago Motta and his technical staff.
"The club would like to thank them all for their achievements."
Former Udinese coach Luca Gotti is in line to replace Motta.
