- Adina Mihai, 30, and Madalin Dumitru, 29, have pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of 80-year-old Malcolm King and 37-year-old Gary Mouat.
- The pair admitted to drugging both men with GBL (Gamma-Butyrolactone), a substance commonly known as a date-rape drug, with the intention of stealing their property.
- Malcolm King was killed on 20 August 2024 at his home in Bagendon near Cirencester, while Gary Mouat died on 13 July 2025 at his residence in Banbury.
- Between 13 and 31 July 2024, Mihai and Dumitru also administered poison to two other men, who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
- The defendants changed their pleas at Oxford Crown Court, admitting to two counts of manslaughter and two counts of administering poison with intent to injure, and are currently awaiting sentencing.
