Former PSG defender Thilo Kehrer has explained moving to West Ham.
Kehrer joined the Hammers for €12m last summer, sacrificing regular Champions League football in the process.
But he told Sky Deutschland: “I thought about what makes the most sense to me over the summer. Of course I wanted to have as much playing time as possible, at as high a level as possible."
In the Premier League there are "a lot of games at Champions League level", Kehrer added.
"I have found a very, very good homebase in West Ham."
