Not all debt recovery cases are suitable to be taken to court.

4 important considerations:

1. Is the debtor still solvent?

2. Does the debtor have a reason for non-payment, or counterclaim?

3. Does the debtor have enough assets/cash to pay?

4. Does the ROI (legal fees & costs vs potential return) make sense?

If the answers are unfavourable to the questions above, think twice.
