Nasi lemak is a popular and iconic dish in Malaysian dish. The name “Nasi Lemak” reflects on the dish’s rich and flavorful components. Typically, the dish includes coconut rice, anchovies (ikan bilis), sambal, peanuts and egg. Just recently, a Malaysian man has shared his hilarious encounter with a RM1 packet Nasi Lemak.
M’sian man receives RM1 Nasi Lemak humoured by the thinness of the egg
According to a post on X by @Matden17, he shared pictures and videos of the Nasi Lemak that he was about to eat. Upon opening up the packet Nasi Lemak, he couldn’t help but be humoured by what he saw. Speaking to Wau Post, he shared that his colleague had given him a pack of Nasi Lemak.

As he opened the packet Nasi Lemak, he couldn’t help but burst into laughter as he saw the egg in the packet. In the packet, the piece of egg was so thin that it was almost see through.
Seeing that the slice of egg was so thin, he joked about it on his post captioning the images as,
“The egg that’s thinner than my faith.”
