Kota Kinabalu: “KK Knockout”, the third Sabahan-made feature film released this year, will hit the cinemas on July 20.
Produced by Hero Legacy and directed by actor-scriptwriter Yuri Mejal, the action comedy film tells a story of a teenager who dived into the world of underground fighting and gangsterism.

Read more The film starred Yuri as the leading actor and newcomer Tracie Sinidol – former State Unduk Ngadau finalist and also Dewi Remaja 2022 winner, as well as Muaythai fighter Dean Hamsah, Jo Johari Abdullah, Ojet Magix and Rayndra Jubidi, among others.
Yuri said the production team noted that netizens had mixed reactions on social media after the film poster and trailer were released.
“For example, some said the story is cliché, but there is more to the film than meets the eye – there would be a few plot twists in the film,” he said, here, Wednesday.
