Bedsure ribbed heated blanket electric throw
The best budget electric blanket has been tried and tested to keep you cosy from the winter chill. Expert tester Joanne Lewsley remarked on its soft, premium feel despite the price point. She found that it heated up quickly and evenly, reaching 27C within just 10 minutes.
“There are six heat settings and a generous one-to-10-hour timer, giving you plenty of flexibility whether you're settling in for an evening on the sofa or just taking the chill off before bed,” she said.
“I also like that it automatically drops to heat level two after two hours, helping maintain a comfortable temperature without becoming too warm, before switching off completely after eight hours.”
On its highest setting, it costs 3p per hour to run, making it an affordable way to beat the cold weather this winter.
