As Covid-19 pandemic restriction have eased up, construction plans are now back on track and just recently, it was reported that a well-known Chinese restaurant that serves sour and spicy fish will be entering the Malaysian market very soon.
According to Sin Chew Daily, this Chinese restaurant is opening its first store in Pavillion KL and have started to put up signboards and banners mentioning that they’re looking for staff members to work in the restaurant.
Following that, one of the banners that they’ve put up has caught the attention of netizens. In their banner, it states that they’re looking for:
- Restaurant Manager: RM8,500
- Head Chef: RM7,000
- Assistant Restaurant Manager: RM4,500
- Management Trainee:RM3,700
- Service Crew: RM3,000
- Dishwasher: RM3,000
- Part Timer: RM11-12
Many netizens were surprised to see that a dishwasher is being offered a salary of RM3,000 and here’s what some of them said:
“Service crew and dishwasher would get the same amount of salary. If so, I’d rather be a dishwasher, at least there isn’t much gossip or small talk required.”
One user said, “RM3,000? I want to head over and wash plates already.”
A netizen asked if people are willing to wash their dishes at home to which the admin hilariously replied to her saying, “My home doesn’t pay me salary of RM3,000 so no.”
