
KOTA KINABALU: More than 50,000 people gathered at Dataran Kinabalu on Sunday to celebrate National Day and Sabah Day 2025.
Families and friends arrived as early as 5.30am, creating a lively atmosphere that reflected unity and love for the nation.
The official programme began at 6.30am with a parade featuring 169 contingents from across the state.
Of these, 126 contingents were made up of government agencies, uniformed bodies and community organisations, while 43 involved vehicles including national defence assets that added colour to the procession.
The occasion was graced by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, Tun Musa Aman, together with Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and members of the state cabinet.
