Three cops electrocuted in Beaufort [UPDATED]

BEAUFORT: Three police personnel died at the scene after being electrocuted while picking coconuts in front of the Weston Police Station on Thursday afternoon.

Beaufort Fire and Rescue Station chief Ishak Jabas said seven firefighters were dispatched to the scene after receiving an emergency call at 5.56pm.

Upon arrival, emergency responders found the three personnel lying on the ground with severe burn injuries.

Their bodies were later taken to hospital for post-mortem examinations.
