PENAMPANG: Three people sustained slight injuries when the Ford they were travelling in crashed into a water pipe at the Towering roundabout here.
The three 18-year-olds, comprising two men and a woman, were believed to be on their way to the city from Penampang when the accident occurred at 4.30am.
The impact caused the car to land on its roof as water began to pour out of the broken pipe.
Penampang traffic police Sergeant Maherwan Madi was at the scene to investigate.
