
A man has stabbed three people at Winterthur railway station in Switzerland, police said on Thursday.
The 31-year-old suspected attacker was arrested, the Zurich regional police said. They initially gave no information about his motives.
The three victims, aged 28, 43 and 52, were taken to hospital for treatment. Police said nothing about the severity of their injuries.
A large area around the station was cordoned off, with forensic investigators working at the scene.
The incident occurred in the morning at around 8:30 am (0630 GMT). Swiss media had reported on it based on statements from eyewitnesses.
Winterthur, which has around 120,000 inhabitants, is located between Zurich and Lake Constance.
