The team arrived at the scene, located 7km away, within nine minutes of receiving the emergency call at 6.01am.

Firefighting efforts involved a 200-foot dual-hose stream supplied by the fire engine, along with water sourced from a nearby hydrant.

Additional support came from the Kampung Titingan Community Fire Brigade, which used a portable pump and drew water from a drainage channel via a separate 200-foot twin hose line.

The fire was brought under control at 6.51am and the operation ended after two hours later after all hazards were neutralised.

Also involved in the response were two police officers, three Ministry of Health personnel, five members of the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM), two staff from Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) and four representatives from the Sabah State Water Department (JANS).
