PITAS: The headmaster of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Senaja and his daughter, a student of the Raudhatul Huffaz tahfiz centre, as well as a family member, were killed in a fire which destroyed their house at Kampung Taka, here, early Thursday.
The Fire and Rescue Department was alerted to the incident at 2.19am and arrived at the scene, approximately 65km from the nearest fire station, at 3.10am.
The deceased are Abdul Malik Mad Tasin, in his 50s, and his 11-year-old daughter Nur Adriana Qistina.
The family member was identified as Salleh Onding.

“Two cars – a Perodua Kembara and a Proton Waja – were also destroyed.
The charred bodies were handed over to the police for further action,” said a statement from the Fire and Rescue Department.
