Kota Kinabalu: Three Sabahan teachers were reportedly shortlisted today for the prestigious Cambridge Dedicated Teacher Awards 2024.

Stefanus Lucas of SK Pendidikan Khas Tuaran, Jennedy Pungawon of SMK Langkon Kota Marudu and Sydney Engelbert of Keningau Vocational College stood out together with 90 other nominees worldwide, Info X reported.

Stefanus pioneered the "Suara Kami @ Our Voices" project focusing on empowering students to express themselves confidently and alleviating students who are much more in need.

Jennedy is his students’ favourite "Mr Ned". One student wrote that Jennedy helped him achieved a district champion status in a public speaking competition and ranked in the top-five in Sabah.
