THREE teenage boys were charged in the Parit Magistrate's Court today for embarassing a 13-year-old male student last week.

All 16-year-old accused pleaded not guilty after the charges were read out before Magistrate Nurul Izalina Rajaai in a closed-door hearing.

All three were jointly charged with pushing and removing the victim's pants in front of a crowd.

The offence was allegedly committed in the hall of a secondary school in Parit in the Perak Tengah district at about 8.30 am on 14 November 2025.

The charge was brought under Section 507B of the Penal Code read together with Section 34 of the same code which provides for a prison sentence of up to three years or a fine or both, if convicted.

The case was handled by Prosecuting Officer, Inspector Mohd Syukri Abdul Talib while the accused were represented by Nur Nadzrah Badarudin from the National Legal Aid Foundation (YBGK).

In the appeal, the three accused pleaded for minimum bail to be granted on the grounds that they were still in school and considering their respective family income.

The court then allowed each accused to be bailed at RM500 each.

The court fixed December 16 for mention and to obtain a moral report from the Social Welfare Department (JKM). - November 21, 2025
