KOTA MARUDU: A three-year-old was killed after being hit by a four-wheel-drive at the Fok Tak Chu Temple parking area, near here, on Tuesday.
Kota Marudu District Police Chief Supt Zairolnizal Ishak said the child sustained serious head injuries in the 7.05pm incident.
He said the victim was confirmed dead at 7.56pm at the Kota Marudu Hospital and the 56-year-old driver was arrested to assist in the investigation under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
